The academy is CruiseCTRL365's learning platform. Here we combine Storyal's inspiring video courses with our own guides, exercises and training plans.

Common mistakes and misconceptions

Not having digital training

Today, employment periods are shorter and it is rarely possible to gather large groups for traditional training.

At the same time, we learn best when we ourselves are receptive – in the right situation and at the right time.

Therefore, CruiseCtrl365 Academy is based on flexible, individually tailored training that meets the employee when the need arises and makes learning both effective and sustainable.

Not having a proper digital education platform

Simply sending out videos or making them available on an intranet or via some portal is great – for those who are deeply interested and have good discipline, love their job, always do as they are told and never forget anything… But for most people, something more is needed.

Not following up on training

Believing that employees will take charge of their own training and always stay disciplined sounds good in theory. Self-leadership is important, but without follow-up, it is rarely effective in practice.

Trying to do everything yourself

Many businesses have an overconfidence that employees can only absorb training if it all comes from the same supplier. It becomes even more time-consuming if you try to produce everything yourself. Then someone in your company must first become an expert – and then create the training. How long do you think it will take before it is in place?

One size fits all

Offering the same training to all target groups is ineffective – not to mention downright insane.

Take GDPR for example. Everyone needs some knowledge, but not at the same level. An employee who only occasionally books meeting rooms has completely different needs than the HR department working on recruitment or the management team making strategic decisions.

If all of this is squeezed into one training course, many participants waste both time and commitment on content that is not relevant to them.

The Academy has it all

We have digital training courses and meetings that we record and post on our digital training platform. We can assign the training courses and create a training plan for your business.

We have designed the training for the right target group, picking up training from different suppliers.

Role-based training

Management

Management finds training in the basics of Governance 101. 

And the management team is both manager and employee, so of course they have access to the same training.

Managers

Managers have access to training on how to drive change in their work group, how to steer with a firm hand to increase collaboration. 

But managers are also employees and have access to the same productivity courses.

Employees

Employees receive training that increases productivity and get a clear picture of which apps to use when.
